September 18th

September 18th is coming, a really fun date to enjoy.
September 18th or “ patry parties” ( fiestas patrias) is a Chilean date to celebrate the independence of the country. But here we find a big mistake, because the independence of Chile was achieved on February 12th what we really celebrate is the first gobernment ( primera junta de gobierno) what was created in 1810 becoming the first step to independence.
In this date a lot of people travel to meet their parents and others prefer to stay and visit their family or go to the “fondas” a very funny places where you can drink ( chichi, wine, beer…) and eat a lot of meals what are typical of this date; like anticuchos, asados and empanadas.
Some people still enjoy these days playing some typical games like Fly a kite, rayuela, palo encebado and others like dance "cueca" a boring dance.
Having fun is one of the most pleasant things in the life and these are maybe the funniest days in the year, but we also detected some problems what happen those days.  Some Chileans says that they getting fat at least 3 kilos, that’s because we eat a lot when we are having fun. This problem become in a headache because is very difficult Lose Weight.
Another thing is the sad story of every year. The quantity of people who die in this date. A lot of people dies because the alcohol makes us loose the control of our body. Then Knock down and die become a typical thing of this celebrate
Well… The most important what you should know is that you have to act with responsibility. You should know that be careful is part of celebrate, besides you also should know that when you drink and eat with measure, you  take care yourself and other lifes.

My future Job

Hello everybody today I will talk about my future job
I don’t know how will be my future job, but I hope it be connected with my studies. If I can’t find a Job of Public administrator I would like to have a bake shop or a coffee shop.

In the future I want to study gastronomy just because I like cook. I really love to visit a bake stores because there you find a beautiful cakes and cup cakes. I would like to learn how to create these beautiful things.

My best friend likes my idea and she wants to help me if I open the bake shop of my dreams. Maybe I could open a side when you can eat delicious cakes and drink teas. My friend wants to learn how to cook with me (maybe she learn to cook better than me, if that happens I could administrate the business.

If I can’t get money or find a job of public administrator I think that I should watch tv and play video games until “the end of the word” anything will have sense if I can’t reach my dreams.

So I hope that everybody achieve their dreams and can work as they really want. 

My best Holidays

My best holidays were in my childhood.

I had a lot of holidays what I like.
I remember with happiness when I travel to a little town nearly to San Fernando called “Puente Negro” where my grandfathers have a little house. There I went with my parents, my grandfathers, uncles, aunts and cousins.

There we went to the river (“Claro” river), and were together (playing cards, talking, cooking, eating, etc)

These holidays were beautiful to me because I feel it part of my childhood and it makes me feel nostalgic.

Others holidays that I loved were with my aunt and my grandparents (When I was a child frequently I had a holidays with my grandparents because my parents had to work every time).

It were in 2000 ( I think so), We went to the south of Chile. We went to “Talca” first to be with my Auncle Odette, who lives out of Santiago since she got married. Then we go to “Concepción, Talcahuano, Los ángeles and Temuco” to visit other people.  Finally We knew “Valdivia”, “Puerto Montt” and “Chiloé island”.

These holidays were very fun to me, just because I knew a lot of new places and because I share with my second Family, my Grandfathers J.

In the future I like to go to some European country.  Specially  Germany, France or England.
In this moment I will choose France. I think it’s a special country because this country has an interesting history about government and political things.
I don’t know very much about this country, I just know about its history ( Like French revolution).
French it’s a member of the European Union. the french government has the 5th place of  mundial economy. This country lived every kind of government. Reading about its history is very interesting.
The French people loves cheese.  it sounds very good.
If I go there I would like to know louvre museum, and a lot of beautiful arquitectonic palaces. I really would like to know every place that I can, cause it could be the only chance to enjoy that wonderful country.
At the present I wouldn't really want to study there, just because I don’t know how to speak in French. If someday I learn, maybe I will consider that option. If I have to study in other country I prefer England or Germany( I don’t speak german, but I think is easier than French).

Introducing Myself English 4

Hello everybody, My name is Laura Antoine, I'm twenty-one years old and I live in Macul, Santiago, Chile.

At present I'm a third year student of Public administration at Universidad de Chile. My first studies were in "Colegio Licarayen" in"La Florida" where I was living in the past.

I live with my parents and my little dog called “Doli”.

My family is very important to me, because this is the way of I have been educated. I love my parents and my grandparents, because they have been an important support in my life. I’m always confused about my future and they always help me and advise about what have I do.

Doli is my sweet partner. She is always follows me and it makes me feel important for somebody (a lot of tears). She became in the most important pet that I ever had. I don’t know what I will do without her L. Well, that’s not very important at the present.

I like to write in my blog, listening to music and surfing on internet, where I talk with my family and friends( because I Can't stay with them since I entered the university) or looking for something interesting for me .

Now I like to reading some novels and history novels that I consider interesting,  so I love to read but not the texts that teachers evaluate in the tests.

I love video games, although people thinks it’s very “nerd” I don’t really care. Sometimes I turn so obsessive when I play because I waste a lot of hours trying to end a difficult game. I have tried to don’t buy new games or not discover new games in internet because it could prejudice my studying time. My first year in the university was very difficult to me, because when I arrived to my house I turned on my PC and was playing all day a “facebook- game” called “city-ville” a really addictive game what makes me get bad qualifications.

I also love the music. My favorite band is “Rage against the machine” I’m still very sad, because I couldn’t go to the concert in 2010.

In my daily I like to go out with my parents to visit our family, or being with my boyfriend, who share his time with me , playing video-games , eating a lot, or visiting new places of the city. Something that I love of him is that he loves cats and rock music , like me J.

My best friend of the school called Camila and Paula, are very important to me, because always try to help us whatever it be. The only problem is that we never be together because our studies don’t let us so much time and we live not really close.

In the university I have a lot of friends, but I don’t name them. They know how much important are to me.

My favorite time of the day is when I have to sleep c:

In the future I intent to travel around the world and know new places with my family and friends. I Hope that someday I can  do that.

I hope that Someday I have my own house full of cats J, Well, not more than three because maybe I won't take care of all them.

I will try to work a lot to give a good economic situation to my parents, because I know how much they have done to me and I want to do the same with them.

My favorite Movie: Paris Je t' aime

Hello People:

 Today I will talk about my favorite movie.

 I recognize that it wasn't easy to choose just one because I love a lot of movies. Well... anyways I chose "Paris Je t' aime" a French movie, directed not just by one director but  many directors of different countries. 

In this Movie acts  many actors as for example the  great French actress Juliette Binoche, the protagonist of "the lord of the rings" Elijah wood and the beautiful and talented actress Natalie Portman.

This Movie is a compilation of different stories that happen in this beautiful city: Paris. I don't consider important to talk about the characters that these actors represent, because each story is a kinda "weird" and isn't coherent. The connection in this movie is Paris and the love. Each Story shows us different ways to interpret and live this feeling. For example family love, deception, separation, lost lovers, cruel love, and the happiness of love.

My favorite story in this movie is one called "Place des fêtes" which talks about a black men who falls in love with a girl who always helps him. Finally he dies, but it is a beautiful scene. One of the short stories which got better qualification of the critics.

here I share with you all this part of the movie.

Maybe this movie could be better, there are some stories that suddenly make me feel bored. But anyways I consider this is an artistic and pretty film.

Someone that I admire

   Hello Friends today I will talk about  someone that I admire. He is Valentin Letelier Madariaga. Valentin Letelier was born on December 16th of 1852 in Linares, Chile. He was one of the greatest Chilean Politic.
On 1875 he was graduated of lawyer in university of Chile with his memory “ Municipal Power or administrative decentralization”.
On his career he wrote a lot of books, he became a “mason( Masonería)” and joined to radical party.  Then He started to work as reporter. He was proposing great ideas about educational public politics and how to reforming that problem, ideas which were so smart and necessary in those times.
On 1889 he participed in the fundation of the pedagogic institute of the university of Chile( UMCE/ metropolitan university of education sciences. at the present).
On 1888 he became an Administrative Right teacher in law faculty  and after on 1891 he was chose fiscal of counts tribunal( at the present  called "general controller of the Chilean republic")
I chose Valentin Letelier because he was an admirable men. He gave his knowledge and thinking as a gift.
I Love administrative right and he was who ( I think) formed a base of this area.
